A rumor Saturday hinted that Apple might let retail staff join in on its corporate Steve Jobs memorial event on October 19. The 9to5 tip would have stores closing for an hour that day starting at 1PM Eastern. Staff would be free to watch a live broadcast from the company’s Cupertino headquarters before returning to work.
