Q: Can you use Siri with 3rd party apps? A: Well, yes and no.

As iPhone 4S users get familiar with the device and get used to Siri, they may want to use the new feature with 3rd party applications.  That answer is YES and NO.

YES:
This feature will work with any application that lets a user input information, and the app shows a Keyboard (such as Pages, a small notepad app called QNote, etc.)

NO:
Because Apple didn’t allow developers complete (or limited access) to Siri, they cannot enhance an application to include navigation or tapping buttons with one’s voice.

We (I) hope that Apple opens Siri up to 3rd party developers soon, so we can use this fantastic innovation with our apps.
