Apple has posted some photos of Wednesday’s “Celebration of Steve Jobs’s Life” held at Apple’s main campus.
As we and others reported yesterday, California’s Governor has declared today as “Steve Jobs Day.” For those of you who are in this great state, please check with local media for events to mark this day and let’s all remember this great man who has given us so much who didn’t deserve to leave us so soon.
A rumor Saturday hinted that Apple might let retail staff join in on its corporate Steve Jobs memorial event on October 19. The 9to5 tip would have stores closing for an hour that day starting at 1PM Eastern. Staff would be free to watch a live broadcast from the company’s Cupertino headquarters before returning to work.
