OperaSoftwareLogoMid Friday, Opera Software (makers of the popular Opera web browser) unveiled their latest mobile project, targeting Android and iOS devices.

The project is a webkit-based mobile web browser called “Opera Ice” that’s specifically designed for popular mobile screens including Android and iOS based devices.

A web site named Pocket-lint found a company wide internal video (shown below) demoing some of the features of the web browser and its potential.

According to the developers, the above browser aims to eliminate some of the clutter that included with the modern web browsers including the URL address bar.

The browser also tries to incorporate more touch-only features.
