CNBC is reporting that Intel’s CEO, Bob Swan, is stepping down from his roll sometime in February of this year.  VMWare CEO Pat Gelsinger to take over when Swan leaves.

The company has had some issues over the past year with chip development and now with a direct “threat” coming from Apple, Inc. with the introduction of the new M1 Chip.
