Did you know that you can make your Mac announce any on-screen alert(s) that may appear?  This is a handy accessibility feature that can be easily enabled.

Here’s how:

  1. Select     > System Preferences > Accessibility.
  2. Choose “Speech” on the left-side panel.
  3. Find and then put a Checkmark next to “Enable Announcements”.
  4. Click “Options”.
  5. Here’s where you can configure what voice you hear for the announcement, and other related information.
  6. That’s it.
