The Trash Can icon on Mac is always on the right-most side of the Dock.  It’s where deleted flies go when you delete them.

It’s a good idea tom manually delete these files in the Trash Can every once in a while, and there’s a quick way to do this.

How to quickly “empty” the Trash Can on the Dock:

  1. Place the Mouse on top of the Trash Can’s icon.
  2. Right click on it, a pop-up window appears.
  3. Select “Empty Trash”.
  4. A dialog box pops up asking if you’re sure you want to do this.
  5. Click “Empty Trash.”
  6. That’s it.
