Back in May, Comcast announced it wouldn’t be offering its streaming service, Peacock, for free to its cable subscribers.

The cable company has now announced it will be offering the streaming service for an additional $3.00/month to its subscribers for a limited time, starting June 27th, 2023.

However, some additional information is available below and it comes from Peacock’s Help Center:

  • If you want to keep your Premium access going, keep an eye out for another special offer from Xfinity after June 26th. You should see it in your email inbox and when you open Peacock on your set-top box or TV device.
  • If you don’t want to keep your Premium access going, don’t do a thing. You won’t be charged for Peacock, and you’ll still be able to watch a limited amount of content for free. (What if I upgraded to Premium Plus? Your $5.00 subscription to Peacock Premium Plus will also stop auto-renewing once your June billing cycle ends.)
