I am in the process of waiting for my iPhone 13. So, I thought I would get Apple’s MegaSafe Duo Charger for the new iPhone and my current Apple Watch.
While I’m waiting, I thought I’d test it with my current iPhone X. So without hesitation, I began setting up the device and had a few surprises along the way, which I’ll outline later in the CONS section of this article.
When I finally got the device working, it worked like a charm and helped cut down on the amount of wires I had on my nightstand – I had one wire for the iPhone and another for the watch.
Pros:
- Minimal Foot Print.
- Fast Charging for the iPhone and Watch.
- Easy to set-up if….(see the Cons).
- Folds up for easy storage when not in use.
Cons:
- Does not come with a wall charger/adapter.
- Short power cable.
- No color choices.
- Can show dirt/dust.
Bottom Line:
A very good charging duo for those with limited space or on the go and need both your iPhone and watch.
