How to see the latest software update on Mac

When updating your Mac, you always want to make sure you’re getting the latest available update.

Do the following:

1. Go to System Preferences.
2. Select software update.
3. The update screen will come up and check for updates.
4. To ensure its the latest, press [Command]+[R].
5. That’s it.
