Persons who try and use the YouTube app on their 3rd generation Apple TV may get a surprise, because without warning, the app no longer works on 3rd generation Apple TV devices. Users will now have to use AirPlay from a Mac own iOS device if they wish to view videos on their TVs.
However, for those of you who are considering upgrading to a newer model, you may want to hold off as it is rumored that Apple will be introducing a new model sometime in 2021.
