In a Github discussion thread, a web site called AppAdvice noticed a discussion about the topic headed by a Spotify rep. named Samuel Erdtman which said:
“You should not expect a release supporting it any time soon. I’m sorry about that.”
Currently, people can use the service via an iOS device and the Airplay service.
