Public Service Announcement
RIM is scheduled to announce its long a waited update to its mobile operating system today at 10am Eastern in New York City and in other parts of the world.
Dubbed “BlackBerry 10″, the operating system will be going head to head with iOS and Android, and is a do or die time for the company.
According to rumors, the company will be announcing the new O/S along with new hardware and software to support it. Â It is also rumored that the company will be offering a device with and without a keyboard (i.e. touchscreen phone). Â Finally, the company has expanded its online store, called BlackBerry World, to include such content as music and movies.
