One of the great new features of MacOS Sonoma is the ability to add widgets to your Desktop.  Widgets allow a user to have quick, updated information at a glance – just like they can on an iOS device.

Adding widgets is simple.

  1. Go to a blank area of the Desktop.
  2. Right click.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Edit Widgets….
  4. Widget window will appear from the bottom of the screen.
  5. Select a widget, then drag and drop it on the screen.
  6. Move the widget to where ever you’d like.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each widget you’d like to add.
  8. That’s it.
