iOS: How to add a website to the Home Screen on iPhone or iPad

If you have a website that you always login to, you can save it to an iPhone or iPad Home Screen for quick login.  The website becomes its own icon and looks like a normal iOS app.

Here’s how:

1. Activate the iOS device.
2. Open Safari.
3. Go to the web site you wish to quickly login too.
4. Tap the share icon (see image that’s included with this article).
5. Scroll down until you find “Add to Home Screen“.
6. A window will open with the site’s title and URL.
7. Click ADD.
8. The web site now appears on the Home Screen.
9. Tap it to quickly go to that web site.
10. That’s it.
