During Tuesday’s media event, Apple had sent a firmware update to their Apple TV Siri Remote that will enable users to use a new FindMy interface to find their Apple TV remote for those devices who can also run iOS 17.

With the new firmware installed, users can use their iPhone’s Control Center to go into the Apple TV Remote app and start a search from there.

Users will see a Find My-like interface that guides them toward the remote, with the size of the onscreen circle increasing to guide movement in the correct direction.

This feature will be available for the ‌Siri‌ Remote on the second and third-generation ‌Siri‌ Remotes for the Apple TV.
More information about this new feature will be available sometime after iOS 17  and tvOS 17 is officially released.
