iOS 17: How to see real-time Transcripts of Voicemails on the Lock Screen

Have you ever been in a meeting or with friends and are waiting for a phone call, but cannot answer it?

With iOS 17, you can now read who’s leaving you a voicemail in real time, and have the option to answer the call right away.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Go into Settings > Phone.
2. Scroll down to Live Voicemail.
3. Toggle it ON.
4. Tap the “Phone” option to save the setting.
5. That’s it. 

Now when you get a call, you’ll see a new icon that says “Voicemail“.  Tap it to activate Visual Voicemail.
