You may have noticed that I haven’t been updating this web site in a few days. With all of the Christmas shopping and events out of the way, I am hoping things settle down so I can get back to the normal daily grinds of Apple News and Rumors.
During a rare downtime last week, I turned on QVC to watch something on TV. They had the Apple Watch as a Today’s Special Value. After seeing the on-air presentation, I finally broke down and got one.
Now that I have had this device on my wrist for a few days, I now wonder how I got along without it all this time. Apple should really consider marketing this device as an essential add-on to the iPhone – and even consider making some sort of “package deals” for their customers.
I am a very busy person and rely on my iPhone for current news, weather, E-Mails, phone calls, text, and so on. So, I carry it with me no matter where I am (even in my house). But now that I have the Apple Watch, I no longer have to lug my iPhone with me. I can now have the device in the other room, and still be notified when I get a text, be able to answer a phone call, make a phone call, be notified when I get an alert from my calendar, and even read (and reply) to emails without even touching my iPhone.
Over the next year, I’ll be writing some how to articles about the device and what I use to use the device to its fullest extent, and even developing some apps for it. STAY TUNED.
