If you’re like me, you use any means to remember something. Sure, there is the Notes app, but that entails opening the app, pressing the “+” button, and then using the on-screen keyboard to jot down the note. With Voice Memo, you can speak what you’re thinking or want to remember.
Here’s how to use Voice Memo on iOS:
- Ask Siri “Open Voice Memo”.
- If this is the first time you’re using the app, you’ll be presented a blank screen with the title “All Recordings.”
- To record a memo, tap the RED circle button.
- Record your memo.
- When finished, tap the red square.
- Now that a voice memo is recorded, it’ll show up on the screen in step 2.
- The icons with the recorded memo should be self explanatory.
To delete a memo:
- Find the memo you wish to delete.
- Swipe LEFT until you see the Garbage Can.
- Tap it.
- That’s it.
