A friend of mine is currently in the hospital recovering from emergency surgery.  She needed some information for a local medical facility and knew I had it.

I answered the call on my Apple Watch and later noticed that the device’s battery was around 1%.  Not wanting to sound rude and say I’d call her right back, I tried something that I hoped would work.  I transferred the current call from the watch to my iPhone without any interruption.

Here’s how:

  1. While on the call, activate and unlock your iPhone.
  2. In the top-left corner of the screen is a green phone icon.
  3. Tap the icon.
  4. The iPhone goes to the normal call screen and automatically transfers the call to the iPhone.
  5. That’s it.

If anyone knows how to do the reverse, please put it in the comments below.
