Editor’s Note: Although this may seems obvious, I am writing this for people like my brother who may not be aware of this change with iPhone protective cases.
Recently, my brother got a new iPhone after having his for years. He got the iPhone 13 with all of the bells and whistles. He also got a new OtterBox case. Keep in mind that he’s not tech savvy and uses it as a phone and a camera for his work.
A few hours later, he noticed that there was a scratch on the screen. After investigating a bit, he noticed that there wasn’t a protective screen included on the case, when he found out that a lot of companies are not including a protective screen with their cases (because Apple claims that the screen won’t crack or chip).
Moral to the story? Always check and see what you’re buying, so you won’t end up like my brother did.
