Sometimes, for security reasons, you may want your Mac to automatically log out of your area and return to the log-in screen. This is possible with a Mac.
Just do the following:
- On your Mac, select > System Settings.
- Then choose Privacy & Security.
- Click Advanced at the bottom.
- Turn on “Log out automatically after inactivity.”
- Click the “Log out after” pop-up menu, then choose the amount of time before the user is automatically logged out.
- That’s it.
How to log back in:
- Activate the screen with your Mouse or keyboard.
- Click on your icon or enter your name.
- Enter your password.
- That’s it.
