How to run a new Terminal Command from the Mac Dock

Editor’s Note: In order for this trick to work, you must have the Terminal icon in the Dock, and its window always enabled.

Have you ever wanted to quickly run a terminal command?

Here’s how:

1. With the Terminal icon in the Dock and its Window open, right click on its icon.
2. Select New Command.
3. Another window will open.
4. Type a terminal command.
5. That’s it.
