The Finder on Mac is a great place for organization of all the apps, documents, photos, etc.  But what if you’re in a hurry and want to get to an app that’s not in the dock?  You can quickly get anywhere using Spotlight Search.

To quickly active it, just type: [Command] + [Spacebar].

Once that  comes up, type the name of the app that you wish to go into.

Bonus Tip:

To quickly go into a document, type: [Command] + [Spacebar], type the name of the document.  The corresponding app will then open and auto-load the document.
