Unlike Windows, Macs come with a way for the user to make their own PDF file out of the box. One can make virtually any type of printable document in to a PDF file with these simple steps:
1. Go to a document that you wish to make a PDF file out of.
2. Select FILE > PRINT (or [Command+P]).
3. The print window will open.
4. On the lower-left corner of the window is a button that says PDF.
5. Click it, and then choose Save as PDF.
6. Another window will open asking for a filename for the PDF.
7. Name the file, then click Save.
8. That’s it.
