You’d be surprised at how many people don’t know how to use Siri when they are on vacation or even a business trip. Apple is always working and expanding on Siri to make it more useful so users can intergrade it into their daily lives.
One of the powerful features is the ability for it to find local resources for you. No matter if its to find a local place to eat, or the nearest pharmacy.
Here are some tips and tricks to make Siri work for you during the day. Just activate Siri and say (or type) the below:
Find local places to eat:
- “Hey Siri, find local Italian restaurants.”
Find nearest hospitals:
- “Hey Siri, find me the nearest hospital.”
Find the nearest gas stations:
- “Hey Siri, find me the nearest gas station.”
Want to know the weather for your location or somewhere else?
- “Hey Siri, what’s the weather for my location?”
- “Hey Siri, what’s the weather for Miami Florida?”
You can also have it call a local establishment for you after Siri finds it:
- “Hey Siri, call Joe’s Pizza.”
Want to call home:
- “Hey Siri, call home.”
