If you have an Amazon Alexa, then you know how convenient the voice assistant can become. But did you known if you have more than one Echo, that you can “drop in” to another room in your home or office?

In order for this to work, you must know the name of the Echo in the room that you wish to drop in on, such as “Living Room” or “Den”.  Also, both Echos must be on the same WiFi network.

Here’s how:

  • Say “Alexa, drop in on [Echo’s name in other room].
  • After a few moments, both Echos should be connected.
  • To hang up, say “Alexa, stop.”
  • That’s it.

This should work with Echos with video and/or audio.
