How to change and customize the watch face on Apple Watch

Now that you’ve got that shiny new Apple Watch, you probably want to customize it.  The #1 thing that most customers do is customize the watch face.  The user can either use another pre-built watch face, or use a photo.  This tip will show you how to put a different design using the already made faces.

1. Find the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Go into the app.
3. At the bottom is an icon that says Face Gallery.  
4. Tap it.
5. Now select the watch face you want to have shown.
6. Tap the ADD button.
7. The new watch face will show on the watch.
8. Go back to the My Watch section.
9. At the top of the view shows your old and new face.
10. To change it back to the previous face….
11. Tap the old watch face.
12. Scroll down until you see the Set as current Watch Face option.
13. Your previous watch face is now shown on the watch.
14. That’s it.

You can also customize the look of the current watch face right on the watch.

1. On the watch, press and hold the current face.
2. Tap the Customize or Edit button.
3. Each section that you can change of the current watch face is highlighted.
4. Tap the area that you wish to change.
5. Use the watch’s crown or swipe left or right to choose the option you wish.
6. When finished, press the watch’s crown twice.
7. That’s it.
