Now that everyone knows that Apple’s new mapping app has its problems, and that Apple has put a section on the iOS app store recommending 3rd party map apps, most users know to go into the app store and go in to that area. But did you know that you can get to this area from the maps app itself?
1. Go in to the map app as normal.
2. Tap the arrow in the upper left for directions.
3. Type in the Start and End locations.
4. Now, tap either the walk or bus icon.
5. If Apple maps does not have information for that area, it will automatically take you to the maps section of the app store.
