BestBuyLogoFirst it was Apple, then Samsung, and now Microsoft is getting on the “store within a store” band wagon by holding talks with Best Buy to try and open said service with them as well.

Both establishments announced the deal on Wednesday.

Microsoft will open mini-stores at 500 Best Buy locations within the U.S., with more planned afterwards.  The stores will focus on Microsoft and Windows products and be manned by Best Buy employees.  The employees will begin training soon, which Microsoft will provide to more than 1,200 associates.

No word on when these stores will begin appearing or at what locations.
