Following the release of iOS 17.0.3 earlier in the week, Apple has closed the door to downgrading from iOS 17 to iOS 16, even though it used to be possible in previous years when the company allowed such a step after the final public version was released.

This is also because Apple stops allowing previous versions of iOS to be “signed” by developers.
