As of today (January 5th, 2022), Discovery Communications, home to such cable channels as The Discovery Channel, has flipped the switch from showing its DIYNetwork to the Magnolia Network. This network offers exclusive shows and content from Chip and Joanna Gains, the hosts of the popular Fixer Upper, which went off the air a few years ago.
The Magnolia Network was being previewed on Discovery Plus until today, where viewers can begin watching their favorite shows via their satellite, streaming, or cable provider that carried the DIYNetwork.
While some DIY shows made it over, others did not and are forever canceled.
