How to install iOS 14 Beta on an iPad

Now that iOS 14 is available to registered developers, some who are new maybe wondering how to download and install the beta version to their iPad. Here’s how:

* Login to the Apple developer portal at http://developer.apple.com/

* Over on the left-side, select Downloads.

* In the Beta Software Downloads section, scroll down until you find the profile for iPadOS.

Tap the [Install Profile] button.
A disclaimer window will pop-up, read and agree to it.

* When the profile downloads, you must manually activate it in Settings > General > Profiles.

* That’s it.

Note: Once you install the beta, you cannot easily uninstall it and restore the iPad back to the way it was without some major work. DO NOT INSTALL THE BETA ON AN IPAD THAT IS USED FOR WORK.
