The Telegraph is reporting that the British Prime Minister has extended the ban on Smartphones and electronic devices as she has also banned the use of Apple Watches inside of cabinet meetings over fears of possible hacking from foreign countries such as Russia and others:
Under David Cameron, several cabinet ministers wore the smart watches, including Michael Gove, the former Justice Secretary. However, under Theresa May ministers have been barred from wearing them amid concerns that they could be used by hackers as listening devices
It appears that the concern is not only driven by the Apple Watch, but other smart watches as well.
