Apple's main developer's web site gets overwhelmed due to announcements

Only a few minutes after the keynote was over, the main developer’s web site for Apple went offline due to an overwhelming response to download a developer’s preview of iOS 7 and OS X 10.9.

As of 5pm Eastern, the web site was still off-line.
