Apple is moving quickly to respond to the COVID-19 crisis by adding some life-saving medical features to its soon to be released iOS 13.5 update.

Besides adding features for COVID-19, the company has also added the ability for an iPhone and Apple Watch to send vital medical ID information to first responders when a user contacts them in a medical emergency.  Of course, an end user would have to opt-in for the feature to work properly.

iOS 13.5 is due out any day now.
