Apple’s streaming service has signed a deal for an adaption of Sarah Perry’s novel “The Essex Serpent” starring Keira Knightly, who will also Executive Produce.
The actual deal is with See-Saw Films, who is known for such films as “The King’s Speech” and “Top of the Lake”.
Apple has continued to make in-roads with Hollywood’s film studios and nabbing major movie deals for its streaming service Apple TV+.
No word on when this will be available.
