For those of us who got up at 3:00am Eastern on Friday were met with delays and uncertainty while trying to pre-order Apple’s next iPhone.
Persons who were met with the famous “We’ll Be Back” post it note on Apple’s web site saw the notice for close to 45 minutes. After that, the ordering process was painfully slow and some times met with 404 errors and/or even blank pages.
While some customers finally gave up, others were rewarded with a notice that their iPhone 4S was on the list as being ordered.
