Microsoft makes $799.00 price on its Surface Tablet permanent

In the ever floundering world of Microsoft, it has announced that the $799.00 price of its Surface tablet will remain permanent.  The tablet has been loosing traction against the Apple iPad ever since it was introduced earlier this year.
