We haven’t been covering the above trail because we wanted to deliver our readers the final verdict and not be in the media frenzy of it all.

For those of you who don’t know, Apple sued Samsung for copyright and patient infringement.  The trail has proven to be groundbreaking, as it may set a president for future copyright lawsuits.

The lawsuit went to the jury three days ago, and it has taken them until Friday evening to come up with the below verdict.

That Samsung has willingly copied both Apple’s iPhone and “trade dressing”.  The jury found that Samsung owes Apple $1.05 billion in damages for willfully infringing on Apple’s intellectual property.
