How to take a Screen Shot of your Mac’s Screen

1. Go to the screen that you want to take the screen shot.
2. Hold down [Shift] + [Command] + [5].
3. You’ll have a choice to take a photo or video of the current screen.
4. The screen shot options will appear at the bottom of the screen.
5. Go through each option and select the appropriate option to take the screen shot.
6. The file will save on the user’s desktop.
7. That’s it.

For a video, you can then use iMovie to convert it to the necessary format.
