The Apple Watch Fall Detection feature was added on the Apple Watch Series 4 and has already saved countless lives, as we have reported here several times.
Fall Detection works when the watch detects a fall and then sounds an alarm on the watch, and show an alert on the screen. The user can than choose to call emergency services, or tap a message thats says “I’m ok.”
Here’s how to enable the feature:
- Open the watch app on your iPhone.
- Tap “My Watch”
- Tap “Emergency SOS”
- Look for the Fall Detection option, and enable it.
- That’s it.
That’s all there is to enabling or disabling the feature. To disable it, repeat the above steps.
