Google looking to distance itself from Apple v. Samsung verdict

In the wake of Friday’s $1.049 billion jury verdict, Apple and Samsung quickly releasedstatements to the press — but one company that remained conspicuously silent was Google. The company has now provided us with a response to the decision, stating that “The court of appeals will review both infringement and the validity of the patent claims.”
