FYI: Don’t try and use Xcode 4 with macOS Sonoma

If you’re a developer and are considering installing macOS Sonoma beta and use Xcode 4, DON’T.

Apple, in its infinite wisdom, has decided not to let Xcode 4 run in Sonoma.  We’ve asked Apple for a comment, but haven’t heard back.

In the meantime, if you are working on a project and do decide to install the beta you may want to back up your project and upload it to a free service such as Google Drive or others inside of a ZIP file.
