According to Mac users who have experienced this bug, and reported it to a web site called OpenRadar.com, typing the below will crash your Mac under most applications:
Note: Because of the fact that we couldn’t even type the above
into this web site, we had to take a screen shot of it. The command
is the word File followed by a colon, and three forward slashes.
Doing so, will cause the following error:
This is not a joke, and not recommended that you try it. The error has been reported to Apple, but we recommend that you do it too.
