Apple has issued a statement to ‘The Loop‘ web site regarding the battery issue that some iPhone 4S customers have been having with the device:
“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices,” an Apple spokesperson told The Loop. “We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”
Additionally, Apple has also issued iOS 5.0.1 to registered developers that have those fixes, and have asked them to test the update before its “public release”, which has yet to be announced.
