What is Google One?

Google.com has recently introduced a new service called Google One.  What is it, and how could it be used with my Apple Devices?

I’ve been using Google One for its Google Drive and VPN service with all my iOS devices and Macs for about a week now and have no issues with it.  Yes it’s big bad Google.  But I am not concerned about the security of my data or personal information.
