Today is June 1st, which means its the start of Hurricane Season here in the United States. For those of us who live on the East Coast, we have to watch the tropics from now until mid November.
Information is extremely important during a Hurricane. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the path of bad weather, or half way around the world. You still like to know what’s going on.
Some people seem to forget, that the Internet can become an extremely important place for information, keeping in touch, news, and other related information.
Over the past few years, YouTube has become an important resource for such information. More news outlets (and amateur weather chasers) have been using the platform to help disseminate timely, life-saving information even before some of the local media outlets have it.
