The CW Television Network has released an update to their iOS and Apple TV app that has access to all of their content without the need to authenticate with a cable provider. This is the first time that a major TV network doesn’t require an end user to authenticate with a cable or satellite provider before giving access to all content.
The update also has the ability to stream content to other devices via Airplay.
