Testers running OS X 10.9 are increasingly making their presence felt online, according to AppleInsider. Traffic logs for the website are said to show hits from v10.9 users growing week-by-week during January, peaking in a period shortly after the 22nd. Late Thursday, we reported that Apple had remotely removed the latest update to Java because of security concerns. We now got word that Oracle has now patched the security holes and has issued another update. Â No word on when Apple will allow this update to go on their computers.
In response to the discovery of a Java 7 flaw that prompted Apple to disable the software in OS X, Oracle issued a statement saying it is currently working on a fix and will release the patch soon. Via: AppleInsider.com
